Synthesizing Bells

Bell sounds are defined by their inharmonic partials, overtones at non-integer multiples of the fundamental. Each partial decays at its own rate, with higher partials fading faster. A touch of FM synthesis adds the characteristic shimmer and beating that makes bells come alive.
