LFOs bring a patch alive. Vibrato wobbles pitch, tremolo pulses volume, and a filter sweep creates growl. Meanwhile, Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) is why vintage string synths sound so lush. Sweeping the duty cycle of a pulse wave creates a shimmering, chorus-like movement.
