Introduction to VCAs
A Voltage-Controlled Amplifier multiplies a signal by a control voltage. It's the reason every note has shape: the envelope opens and closes the VCA like a gate. Add an LFO for tremolo, push the gain past 100% for overdrive clipping. VCAs make every other module dynamic.
