The Rest of the Hammond Organ (Part 2)
The Leslie speaker is inseparable from the Hammond sound. A rotating horn and drum create doppler pitch shift, amplitude tremolo, and spatial movement. Switching between slow (chorale) and fast (tremolo) speeds produces the characteristic Leslie acceleration effect.
